2012 District W&W project: PINECREST

Construction of the new dormitory at Pinecrest is progressing well, thanks in part to many of you!  We are witnessing the mighty hand of God at work to make the dream of its construction become a reality, debt-free and on schedule to open on June 1, 2013.  To date, over $100,000 has come in toward the new dormitory's construction from multiple sources, some within and many outside the Church of the Nazarene!

Attached are some photos of Timber Ridge, as it looks today.  Just today the wall board was hung in the lower level and it's ready for tape and mud.  It was already warm inside that floor!  Now the upper level is ready for drywall.  You can see that Timber Ridge is rapidly becoming a beautiful, state-of-the-art, handicapped accessible structure that will undoubtedly serve the Missouri District well for years to come!

While the end is in sight, there is much to be done to make it ready for camps.  One remaining need is for forty (40) bunk bed units, at a cost of $300 per bunk bed unit - that's complete with mattresses!   Pinecrest volunteers are hard at work throughout these winter months to finish construction, and they are ready to build bunk beds as soon as money is available for the materials.

If a local church or an individual would like to purchase a bunk bed unit for $300, send a check to the Missouri District Office, marked in the memo for Bunk Bed - Timber Ridge - Pinecrest Camp.
